The St Bride's Events Sub-Committee
The Events Sub-Committee meet regularly to discuss the organisation of events, fairs, and away days etc that take place at St Bride's.
The Members of the Events Sub-Committee are -

- Mrs Jan Carlisle
- Dr David Fergus
- Mrs Alison Gifford
- Mrs Sylvia Russell
- Mrs Kathy Thomas
The Events Sub-Committee carries out work as requested by the Vestry.
Areas of work include -
- organising three afternoon fairs each year.
- organising Festivals of the Arts.
- organising congregational social events.
- taking responsibility for the practical aspects of congregational weekends and away days.
- offering advice on advertising and publicity.
The Events Sub-Committee makes recommendations for the Vestry to consider. It has no decision making powers.
Concerts are generally organised directly by the Concerts Co-ordinator Mrs Alison Gifford who reports directly to the Vestry.
